Imaging beyond the standard

For more than 30 years, XIMEA has developed, manufactured and distributed industrial and scientific cameras, with one goal: getting the most out of the latest image sensors in the most compact design.

The range runs from the smallest board-level cameras to models built around the largest sensor formats. It covers high-resolution, high-speed, cooled scientific, X-ray and hyperspectral cameras as well as embedded vision. Systems scale from a single camera to setups with hundreds of cameras working in tandem. All use modern high-bandwidth interfaces such as USB3 and PCI Express, including the latest USB3.2 and PCIe Gen4 generations.

XIMEA cameras work underwater, in space and everywhere in between. They’re used in medicine and life sciences, astronomy, industrial inspection, entertainment, security, agriculture and many other fields.

Much of XIMEA’s work runs inside other companies’ products. As an OEM partner, XIMEA adapts existing cameras or designs fully custom ones around each customer’s requirements, from sensor and interface to form factor and software. One team takes each project from prototype to volume production in XIMEA’s own manufacturing, often across several product generations.
